Slovenian beauty. City of Maribor. City that emits only positive vibes. Right from the street all the way to the top. Let me take you there.

On my travel to Maribor, I actually didn´t have any expectations. My only hope was that there´s going to be one good coffee place that I can write about. Guess what? I ended up with few of them and couldn´t choose which one I´m going to present. In the end, the location of this place made me choose it. You´ll see why. Welcome to the LUFT 360.

Location

The place is located in the center of Maribor ( Ulica Vita Kraigherja 3 ) and guess where? On the top of the building. Anyone who knows me, also knows that I´m a total rooftop freak. I have visited so many cities around the world and somehow always managed to find one building where I can climb up, all the way to the rooftop and check out the view from there. The view that LUFT 360 offers is more than amazing. It's also the highest viewing point in town. As it was cold outside, we spent most of our time inside, but the view from terrace is much much better. From one side you´re able to enjoy the view over the cute, little, red rooftops which reminded me a lot of Graz. The concrete jungle and planned quarters are on the opposite side, but it doesn´t make it any less attractive. Big mountain raises above them making the shadow play very interesting.

Design

The terrace seemed like a product of imagination. It had these wonderful decorations (and they change them according to the Season). It had these wooden banks, colorful pillows all around, frame of old windows etc,etc. I´ll just let photos speak for itself.

Drinks

This is probably the first post, I am not going to talk about coffee as the concept of the place itself isn´t focused on coffee, but on gin cocktails.

Coffee was good, but it was average.

The cocktails though: AMAZING. My choice was non-alcoholic Lime cocktail but it was amazing. My friends ordered several different types of GIN and from what I´ve heard and saw- they are delicious.

Photo cornes?

Anywhere on the terrace. Basically. Every table next to the glass offers great view over the city (for your cool background :P ).
