City of Graz surprises me every time with the selection of coffee places it has and every single one has something specific about itself, that no other in the city has. The taste of coffee in this cafe took me on a travel around the coffee belt.
Welcome to the "Blend- coffee roastery".
Been going up and down the street always wondering what´s hidden behind the glass door that have such a strong reflection of the street. It plays with your mind, wanting you to go in. Once you do, you´re right in the middle of the coffee bean belt.
Let´s take a trip together.

Origins
I´ve been to the coffee place few times before, but today I got the opportunity to talk to the owner about the place. He explained a few things to me, which to the ear of a coffee lover are nothing but music. His love and need for a good cup of coffee made him open his own. When you enter the place, the first thing you´re going to see are bags full of coffee beans from all over the world and the roast machine. This place roasts its own coffee on " Giesen Trommelröster W6A ". The owner looks for the coffee beans he likes and finds interesting and roasts them with a lot of love in the amount of 6 kg :)

Sorts
There are 4 different sorts you can choose from and they change from time to time depending on what´s available.

Taste
On today´s menu was a sort that had this sweet, mild taste. As I was drinking longer espresso it came in perfect for the afternoon. I usually like to drink espresso only in the morning for a fast "kick-in". The last time I was there, I had cappucino and it was also extremely good. The consistency of the milk cream was good, but you could still taste the coffee which is for me very important.
(Around 60% of people in the world drink coffee just because there´s extreme amount of milk in it and not because of coffee itself. That is why I consider any Latte a waste of potential that coffee has. )
Interior
Art is the first word I have thought about at the entrance. The glass portal lets a bit of light inside and the first "stage" is really light and the more you step inside, the darker it gets. There was something about this place that made me think about the life of a coffee bean. It is there outside in the sunlight, and it gets darker throughout the whole process, until it reaches the coffee machine where suddenly everything gets completely dark. I guess same thing happens with humans. Back to the place- an urban space where you can choose a place depending on your mood. Portal, chairs next to the roaster, comfortable arm chair if you want to read a book, or banks around the wall if you´ve got things to do on your laptop (for example). While we´re at walls. My impression was that every drawing carries it´s own message so it makes you analyze them while you´re sitting there. This quote had me right away:

Photo corner
I did fast photoshoot today and I´ll let you decide whether you like the photo corners I have chosen for you or not :P

Won´t bore you to death anymore!
Just go on and visit the place!
.. and enjoy your coffee !
