Hello, world !

It took me years before I finally decided to start my own blog. It was just one of these things "I´ll do it when I find some free time" and than you never do. I guess these things always end up chasing you around until you finally pay attention to them. So, here I am.

Welcome to the RUNWAY CAFE.

Online space where we only brew good posts abut various topics. These topics represent personal interests of one coffee addict, who is in love with fashion,photography and fitness. To combine all of these things together seemed impossible few years ago, but now..It just looks like the best idea ever.

How did it all start?

It has to be photogenic and it has to have good coffe! After I have studied the science behind coffee and learned how to make all sorts myself, I started chasing perfect coffee tastes everywhere I went.

The smell and taste of coffee bring out something good in me. There is more behind the energy it brings with the dosage of caffeine inside. My origins bring me back to the country where coffee has its personal space and lies high on the list of priorities. It´s not only beverage, but it is also an invite to conversation, to socialize, share your stories or just to sit there in silence while feeling the presence of someone else.

This obsession led me to idea to learn all about it. Where it comes from, what it tastes in other parts of the world and to being barista for a little while. (But a bit more about coffee in the next post, stay tuned!)

So, chasing spots with good coffee made me realise that there is something more. Photos. I like to take photos. I am the one friend that takes photos all the time and that asks for them to be taken (which everyone hates, obviously!). Therefore, my chase got its new variable- interior design and a place where you can take awesome instagram photo, while drinking your delicious coffee.

That´s where and how it happened.

I have started visiting different cafes in Graz (where I live) and than it spread on my travels (which can be a bit annoying when you are the only person who doesn´t want to go in, because "there is nothing special about it").

But.. It paid off.

All of the posts about coffee I made on my instagram profile iron.bab3 had some impact. I started receiving messages about the location of the place, about the place where people can have breakfast and coffee and so on. That´s the moment where you realise you´re good at something. Unfortunately,you´re not brave enough to start, until the messages aren´t about the locations anymore but about when you´re going to start a blog. So, I just did it.

Why "Runway cafe"?

As previously said, it´s not only coffee I have interest in. It´s also fashion. Partly because I have recently started a job as Fashion advisor at one company and partly because I have this need to combine these two loves of mine into one unique piece.
