101: New Years´s Eve outfit

It´s almost New Years Eve but you still have no idea what you´re going to wear and where to find it? No problem. I have found some last moment outfits for you. Read this article fast, look through your closet or go shopping right after.

Check what you have!

Before you decide to shop for the things I recommend, check your closet. We often forget what we have and often end up with something we already have. I think that I´m the perfect example for this. After long discussion with my friend on what we´re going to wear on NYE and long strolls through shops in Graz, I came home and found beautiful black dress in my closet (with label on it attached) . Realized I bought it in august for my anniversary but decided to wear something else and never got the chance to wear it afterwards. So, ladies here´s what you´re going to do: dig in to your closet, check the things you already have. If there´s nothing you like in there, shopping is an option.

As I have mentioned, I went through shops wanting to find something for myself, but somehow nothing came even close to what I already had in mind. That doesn´t mean I can´t recommend some of those things to you. As not all of us, like the same things my decision is to dived NYE outfits into three categories, so everyone can find something for themselves.

GLITTER AND SEQUIN

First thing that comes to my mind when I talk about Christmas and NYE is glitter. Lots of it. Personally, I hated them over the years. Even as a kid, I had huge amounts of despite for anything glittery. the source of could be found in sequins. They gave me the feeling of cheapness and bad quality. Over the years, I came to realization that when they´re created with taste- they can look extremely expensive.

I created a photo in my head of what I want to wear and it was something similar to the famous Paris Hilton birthday dress. Nothing came even close to it. Found some things online, but it´s already too late to order because all of the shipments will be arriving after the day I am supposed to leave for my trip. :( Nevertheless here is inspo for you :

NAKD has wonderful selection of festive pieces and I would buy them all, but unfortunately they won´t arrive before the date of my departure. here are my favorites:

ZARA rocks my world with the perfect glitter blazer dresses. I am in love with each and every single one of them.

BLACK

To move a bit away from shiny things. If that´s not your thing. Go with black. It is always a good idea. My personal preference is always black dress. When I´m not sure, I always go with that. It is easy to combine and any piece will go with it. Not in the mood for dress? no problem. There is great selection of jumpsuits waiting for you out there. Last minute thing that will save you for sure!

RED

Nothing says party more than red dress. It is color of passion and love. If you´re feeling extra sexy and brave, go with it.
